Sketch writer, improv master, and charming dog dad Charlie Mihelich joined us to talk about the (not really) sequel to Super Mario World, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island (1995).
On this episode Conner and Charlie reminisce about the euphoria and misery of past trips together to New York City for the improv marathon DCM (much love to UCBNY), how a trip to target proved that Charlie might have been the best kid in the world, and how as adults they set the same video game restrictions on themselves as their parents did to them as kids. They became the thing they swore to destroy.

Mia recalls renting this game from Blockbuster with her siblings, loving the game enough that she brought her Gamecube to Canada for a wedding so that she could play it, and loved that playing this game meant getting to spend even more time in SpongeBob’s beloved home, Bikini Bottom.
