Welcome to the full preview of Call Me By Your Game Co-Op Episode 1: The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. This is the first in a monthly series of Call Me By Your Game group episodes that will cover iconic games in a round table setting, providing a deeper look into the game than we have time for on the typical episode. These monthly episodes are Patreon exclusives of Super NPC Radio’s $10 tier. Check out Super NPC Radio and see what exclusive content we have to offer.
Some video games are so great, so impactful, and so iconic that giving them a proper look takes a village, a Rito village. On this first episode of Call Me By Your Game Co-Op we’re doing the impossible and discussing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U. This episode features wonderful past guests Heather Woodward, Nick Limon, and Mikey Stephens waking up from a 100 year sleep and making their triumphant return to the show to destroy Calamity Ganon. We discuss the importance of Breath of the Wild debuting with the launch of the Nintendo Switch, how it was a return to form for the Zelda franchise, and why it is a special experience to play for so many.

LA based writer, improviser, and wonderful person Fernanda Perez joined us to talk about her experience with The Lost Vikings (1993). At the top of the episode Conner addresses the audience with a statement and some information about supporting the Black Lives Matter Movement. Conner and Fernanda discuss the importance of speaking out even if they do not represent Black voices. Fernanda was a delight and while we’re happy to escape for a brief moment to talk about video games, we understand that is a luxury and privilege to do so. Join us in supporting BLM.
