Today we're talking about hunting monster's on the PSP! We sit down with comedian, podcaster (My First Kicks, Maximum Film), writer (NBC's Grand Crew), and self-professed nerd Ify Nwadiwe to discuss Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (2008). This episode is a blessing. Ify walks us through his creative career in both video games (writing for Apex Legends, presenting on many show), how he was able to weave his passion for games into being ready for opportunities, and also playing Monster Hunter with a group in a friend's backyard.

You know where I feel at home? In a pixelated covered wagon just outside of Jackson, Missouri. That’s why today we’re finally discussing the phenomenon that is The Oregon Trail. Today your host Conner is joined by his improv buddy, actor, and friend of a shared alma mater Rachel Marsh. Rachel recalls being fascinated by this game at a co-op school she briefly attended, patiently waiting her turn to use the computer and play the game, and being best friends with Stephen Curry.

Well, folks. We finally went full WTF and interviewed our host in a fun little role reversal. Our producer Jeremy Schmidt took up hosting duties for this one and sat down with Call Me By Your Game’s Conner McCabe to discuss his experience with Microsoft 3D Movie Maker (1995), a children’s animation program for Windows. Conner shares about his addiction to playing this game and reliance on fart sound effects, the many Matrix rip-offs, and the scope of this seemingly rudimentary program.

If you’re ever feeling upset you should talk, not Hitman. Today we’re discussing the game that rebooted the popular assassin/stealth series in Hitman (2016). Today we’re joined by the older brother of the Los Angeles improv scene and member of the Big Team, actor, and musician Ronnie Adrian to discuss Hitman and more. Ronnie shares about remembering the first game that ever made him angry, getting back into gaming at the beginning of the recent pandemic, and how the options of this game made the missions fun to replay.

This is the GTA that did GTA first in the way that so many of us know GTA. Today Conner sits down with his dear pal, New Jersey’s sweetest son, and great writer Mike Christian to discuss the GTA that set the franchise on its modern course in Grand Theft Auto III. Mike talks about being a lonely high schooler and playing this game while listening to now probable cancelled daytime radio comedians, discusses changing after being presented with new information, and of course reminisces about going X Games mode on the poor citizens of Liberty City in this game.

You like depth? Oh, this game has depth. Today we’re joined by someone who is both a hero and magical, Jeusus Oquendo, to discuss the strategy game Heroes of Might and Magic III (1999).
